The wandering panda is made of polymer clay. Its 3D, but made to hang on a wall, like a picture.
I think this mix works wonderfully, and it’s definitely an artform I’ll explore in future projects.

It still needs a background and frame, and a layer of paint.

Everything was sculpted on a ceramic tile, as polymer clay sticks excellently to it, and it can go in the oven. That means I can use the same tile for the entire project, and only remove the clay once I’m all done.

The unicorn got a “light” dusting of soft pastel powder, before it was baked. I kinda regret this, as it looks like the unicorn is covered in bruises. Hopefully I can mask this with paint later.
